“The government is collecting more personal income taxes, but spending less of that money on health care. I want to know where that money is going.”
“Mr. Speaker, that is an important question. Looking at the budget, I noticed that government’s personal income tax revenues will increase by more than 4% per year over the next five years. However, its spending on health care is only going to increase by 3%. The government will be receiving more revenue from individuals, but it will be spending less on health care. Where is that money going?”
