How lines are counted

Every count comes from the official record of the House of Commons, Hansard. Routine parliamentary procedure is left out.

A line is counted when members repeat the same meaningful words in the same order. Small differences in wording still count. A line appears here once members of one party have said it at least three times, between at least two of them. One speech counts once per line, however often it is repeated.

The same rules apply to every member and every party. Counts update after each sitting day.
