“We should all take time on November 11 to thank veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. I will be at the Remembrance Day ceremony in Kanata to thank them.”
“Mr. Speaker, it is incredibly important that each and every one of us takes the time on November 11 at 11 a.m., as the member stated, to ensure that we pause to celebrate and thank veterans, who have served our country with such distinct honour, and their families, who have made such big sacrifices in them doing so. I will be at the ceremony the Legion puts on in Kanata on that day, and I look forward to thanking the veterans who will be there for their service.”
