“Mr. Speaker, I want to emphasize that there is work under way, and we need to allow the independent auditors to do their work, work that I hope the member will also allow. There is work under way, an internal review of the governance and structure of Infoway. Maybe my colleague did not get the updated QP card from his leader. Canadians deserve a modernized health care system, and we will always make sure that that is built on the best possible information. Allowing for that third-party review and audit to be completed will do that work, and it will give Canadians the confidence that our money is being spent appropriately.”
