“Young people are losing hope of owning a home, and the high cost of goods and services makes building houses even harder. I want the member to explain more about how our Conservative plan helps the next generation buy homes.”
“Mr. Speaker, housing is extremely important to this country. I would absolutely agree that we have a generation of young people who are losing the hope of home ownership in this country. The member talked about our Conservative approach with respect to increasing supply. One of the things I think is also important within the context of that conversation is how much goods and services in this country cost right now, which is also adding stress on the construction side of new housing. I wonder if the member would like to expand on why our approach restores the dream of home ownership for the next generation.”
