“I want to work with the member to deal with American tariffs, protect our steel sector, and get Stelco employees back to work. I ask him to look at tomorrow's budget, which has our plan to make Canada strong.”
“Mr. Speaker, I have a lot of respect for my colleague, and I am always willing to work with him. We know that together we need to deal with the American tariffs, we need to protect our steel sector and we need to make sure that, when it comes to Stelco, the workers are back. At the same time, I must say that my colleague needs to look at the budget tomorrow. I am convinced that he will be convinced by our plan to build Canada strong.”
