“Mr. Speaker, that is an excellent question. As members know, a few weeks ago our government announced a $2-billion heat pump program, which will benefit one million Canadian households. Rebates of $10,000 will be awarded to lower-income Canadians. This will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25 megatonnes. This is very positive for Canada.”
