“Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question and for the work that he does on environmental issues. Budget 2026 makes unprecedented investments in culture so that we can celebrate and protect what makes us Canadian. The budget includes investments in infrastructure and investments for our creators, artists, cultural institutions, media and journalists. I also want to point out that $339 million has been earmarked for the 2028 Francophonie summit. Let us celebrate our francophone communities. Let us show pride in our culture both at home and abroad.”
