Mr. Speaker, I have the privilege of representing the riding of Mont-Saint-Bruno—L’Acadie in the House. What makes me proud is seeing people from all over coming together to celebrate their identity and the richness of our francophone communities. Through festivals and stories, our artists and creators help to strengthen our feeling of belonging. Can the government explain today how the budget will support our francophone communities and those who bring our culture to life?

Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question and for the work that he does on environmental issues. Budget 2026 makes unprecedented investments in culture so that we can celebrate and protect what makes us Canadian. The budget includes investments in infrastructure and investments for our creators, artists, cultural institutions, media and journalists. I also want to point out that $339 million has been earmarked for the 2028 Francophonie summit. Let us celebrate our francophone communities. Let us show pride in our culture both at home and abroad.
