“Unfair tariffs on Canada cause business uncertainty, which hurts youth jobs. Conservatives ignore this. Our budget cut taxes for businesses, making Canada more competitive. This will bring investment and create jobs for young people. We should work together to pass it.”
“Mr. Speaker, the general uncertainty that has been prompted by the tariffs levied against Canada in such an unjustified way has created uncertainty in business. We know that the Conservatives almost always fail to mention this, but it is a key point, and it is a key point relating to the youth unemployment rate. The productivity mega deduction has been mentioned here at length today. It should be. It creates the most competitive tax jurisdiction in the industrialized world. That means investment. That means jobs. That means jobs for young people. Let us work together to continue to make this happen.”
