“The Prime Minister should pass an existing bill without changing it, to stop treating people differently based on sex and race. The Prime Minister shouldn't wait or ask for more input. The Prime Minister should talk to certain people who want the bill. The Prime Minister's choice is the only thing that matters. The Prime Minister needs to stop delaying and ignoring people and just pass the whole bill right now. That would make me happy.”

“I think you already know the bill is still being studied. We will keep talking about it. We want to make sure we get rid of the Indian Act rules that say who is an indigenous person. I want to help these communities. We are working on it.”
