“All parties agree to this motion. I move that we agree with the Senate to add a senator's opinion to the report on medical assistance in dying, and that we let the Senate know.”
“Mr. Speaker, there have been discussions among the parties, and if you seek it, you will find it unanimous consent to adopt the following motion. I move: That this House concur in the provisions of the message received from the Senate on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with regard to appending a dissenting or supplementary opinion of a member of the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying from the Senate to the first report of the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying; and that a message be sent to the Senate informing it that this House has adopted this order.”
