“I want to honour Dr. Arsalan Mohajer. He is a scientist, teacher, and community leader who has spent his life helping others.”

“Mr. Speaker, today, it gives me great pleasure to pay tribute to a truly remarkable individual in our community, Dr. Arsalan Mohajer. Dr. Mohajer is that rare amalgam who has demonstrated a unique capacity for achievement as a scientist and educator, as well as a civic leader and philanthropist. This past weekend, hundreds of individuals gathered in Toronto at a special ceremony to praise him for his lifetime of achievement. Among the many attendees was the founder of the association of professional geoscientists of Ontario, the president and CEO of the North York General Foundation, the chief development officer of the University Health Network and the leaders of the widest array of Iranian Canadian civic organizations. I was present to offer the Prime Minister’s congratulatory letter. A lifetime of dedication, leadership and service to a multitude of organizations is certainly worthy of celebration. In aspiring to excellence in his own life and contributing to the success of others, Dr. Mohajer has certainly inspired legions.”
