Mr. Speaker, communities across Canada and around the world are celebrating the 650th birthday of Guru Ravidas Ji, a spiritual leader highly regarded for his unwavering stand on human rights against caste-based discrimination. His vision of a society rooted in harmony, mutual respect and inclusion has been carried forward by members of the Indian diaspora, enriching our communities through service and leadership. I invite all members of this House to join me this evening at a special event I am hosting to celebrate this important milestone and welcoming on Parliament Hill patrons and community leaders from across the country.
