Ethics

The debate centered on the administration of the Prime Minister’s ethics screen and claims of undisclosed conflicts of interest. Conservatives stated that the Ethics Commissioner is not receiving necessary records regarding the PM’s ethics screen, alleging that key decisions are made secretly by senior advisors and that conflicts of interest involving Brookfield are being withheld. Liberals countered these claims by asserting that the Prime Minister is adhering to established rules and that the opposition’s focus on ethics constitutes character assassination while the government prioritizes economic development.Written by AI from the debate. The Conservatives need to get out of the gutter and start recognizing the many positive things that are happening as a direct result of this government and this Prime Minister reaching out and building that stronger and healthier economy. It is time to step up—
