If the Liberals really want to invest in Canadians, the Liberal government can do one thing: just get out of the way. Let our natural resources get produced so we can create more jobs, create more boots on the ground, get shovels in the ground and get more projects built. That is what is going to help our youth, not more blocking of our resource projects. When will the Liberal government get out of the way and remove its anti-development laws so youth actually have a future in this country again?”

The Liberal Prime Minister doubled Trudeau’s deficit and added even more to the national credit card; more costs and taxes are all on the heads of struggling families. No wonder Canada has the highest food inflation in the G7, with 2.2 million Canadians at a food bank in a single month and one in 10 Canadians living in poverty. This is what happens when Liberals tax the farmer, the trucker, the grocer and the restaurant, and then act shocked when the price of meals goes up. We should scrap the Liberals’ fuel taxes, stop inflationary spending and bring home affordable food for Canadian families. In Canada, feeding families should not be put on a line of credit.”

“Mr. Speaker, does this guy want a gold medal for having the second-highest deficit in the entire Canadian history outside of COVID? The Prime Minister skips on the bill, while Canadians are skipping meals. More than one in 10 Canadians are now living in poverty, and the pain is only going to get worse with these guys piling on more debt. The Liberals spend like there are no consequences. It is Canadians who have to pay for those consequences. When will the Prime Minister stop the reckless spending and stop the out-of-control deficits so Canadians can afford to live?”

“Real investment funds use extra money, not debt. I want my colleague to say more about why Canadians worry about the Prime Minister's fund, given the government's history of giving money to insiders.”

“Mr. Speaker, my friend from Calgary Nose Hill is right when she says that real sovereign wealth funds like in Norway run from surpluses, resource revenue or royalties, and they do not invest within Norway because of inflationary issues that could come up from that. I was wondering if she could expand on a point she raised about why Canadians are so concerned about this debt fund by the Liberal Prime Minister given the Liberals’ track record of slush funds, giving money to Liberal-connected insiders and the corruption and scandals we have seen over the last 10 years.”

“This budget adds too much debt and spending. Canada has some of the worst unemployment, debt, and living costs in the G7. I want the Prime Minister to admit he cannot manage our money.”

This credit card budget has more debt, more costs, more spending and more taxes, all by the same old Liberals. Now Canadians have the highest food inflation, second-highest unemployment, highest consumer debt and highest housing costs in the entire G7. Will the costly Liberal Prime Minister just finally admit he is a worse money manager than Justin Trudeau was?”

The cost of government has driven up the cost of living, and 2.2 million Canadians are going to a food bank in a single month, because the government gave Canadians the highest food inflation in the G7 and the highest household debt. Will the Liberal Prime Minister commit to capping the deficit at no more than the already reckless $31 billion Trudeau gave?”
