Limits on employer union influence

C-259 Fair Representation Act: An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (fair representation)

Penalizes employers who control or influence unions and strips certification from affected unions.

What Bill C-259 would do

The bill would amend the Canada Labour Code to clarify what actions count as an employer, or someone acting for them, dominating or influencing a trade union.
