“Madam Speaker, obviously I am pro-Canadian. We should be supporting our troops and our veterans. When they come home, they want meaningful employment. One of the things not being touched on here is that veterans who come home, when they leave the military, go through a bit of an identity crisis. Giving them meaningful employment is something that helps with their mental well-being. Therefore, it is a complete slap in the face to Canadian veterans when they come home and find fewer opportunities for employment in the workforce in Canada.”
