“I want to congratulate March of Dimes on its 75th anniversary. The group helps Canadians with disabilities overcome barriers.”

“Mr. Speaker, what began in 1951 with the marching mothers movement and volunteers going door-to-door collecting dimes in support of finding a cure to polio lives on today as March of Dimes. This past summer, I had the pleasure of visiting with the wonderful staff and volunteers at March of Dimes in my riding of Don Valley North, and I want to take this occasion to congratulate them as they mark 75 years of service. I advise the House of this remarkable organization because, throughout its history, March of Dimes has helped countless Canadians with disabilities overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. I commend it for its continued dedication to building a more accessible and inclusive Canada for generations to come.”
