One of the wonderful initiatives we are taking is investing $5 billion over three years to improve the infrastructure of our health care systems. These are things such as improvements to emergency services, hospital capital and other health care facilities, so provinces can prioritize what they believe is important. Personally, I am plugging for the Seven Oaks General Hospital re-establishing its emergency services. The bottom line is that, as a government, we understand and appreciate the needs of our health care system. As a government, we will continue to support our health care because we believe in Canadians, and Canadians want public health care.”
