Birthday Wishes

During Statements by Members, held during Italian Heritage Month, Conservative member Michael Guglielmin marked his grandmother’s 94th birthday. He recounted her 1952 journey from Treviso, Italy, to Halifax’s Pier 21, where she arrived alone at age 21, and honoured Italian-Canadian grandparents who came to Canada to build a better life for their families.Written by AI from the debate.
