“Mr. Speaker, it has been a very busy few weeks in B.C. with both municipal and provincial elections. I want to take a moment to congratulate all newly elected and returning MLAs and mayors, as well as all city councillors and school board trustees elected across New Westminster—Burnaby—Maillardville. First, in New Westminster, I congratulate mayor-elect Daniel Fontaine, who will be sworn in today, as well as returning MLA Jennifer Whiteside.
