Pauline Rochefort, Nipissing—Timiskaming
“I support our new budget. People and local groups in my riding helped shape it. I especially like the tax breaks it gives to small businesses. Now we need to put it into action.”
“Mr. Speaker, I was very pleased to be able to represent the people of my riding, Nipissing—Timiskaming, during the tabling of our budget, “Masters of our Destiny”. I would really like to thank all of the citizens and organizations in Nipissing—Timiskaming who participated in the budget process. They submitted briefs and participated in round tables. I want to say a very special thank you to the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce, because it organized a special round table for small business. I really look forward to coming back to my riding and speaking about the productivity mega deduction that applies to small businesses. In closing, I want to thank the people of Nipissing—Timiskaming. On behalf of the government of Canada, I thank them. Now, we move on to action.”
