Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship

In question period on immigration, the Conservatives said the government has lost control of the system, arguing the Prime Minister’s population figures did not match Statistics Canada’s, which showed 300,000 more people in the country than he claimed, and asked how he can set immigration levels when the numbers are off. The government replied that it has been working on immigration since forming government, that the work continues, and that more will be announced soon.Written by AI from the debate. Updated .
