“Mr. Speaker, today I would like to pay tribute to a constituent of mine. Roger Barrette has dedicated 47 years of his working life to the health and social services system, including 40 years at the Thérèse-De Blainville CLSC, now known as Santé Québec Laurentides. Mr. Barrette has witnessed the major changes in our health care system from the early days of CLSCs to the present. Throughout all these years, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our community. Even today, he continues to come up with innovative ideas for the benefit of our community. I recently had the pleasure of meeting with him and presenting him with a certificate of recognition to honour his exceptional career. Our public services are sustained by women and men like Roger Barrette, who dedicate their careers to serving the public and contribute every day to the well-being of our constituents. On behalf of the people of Thérèse-De Blainville, I thank Mr. Barrette for his 47 years of service, and I offer him my heartfelt congratulations.”
