Climate Change

During oral questions on climate change, Green Party leader Elizabeth May paid tribute to the member for Laurier—Sainte-Marie, who was set to give his final address to the House, and asked the Minister of the Environment whether she would fight for climate action. Parliamentary Secretary Julie Dabrusin responded that the government and Liberal members fight climate change every day, pursuing climate policy it described as unifying and pragmatic, and said the government is taking action and protecting nature.Written by AI from the debate. Official Hansard

Mr. Speaker, later this afternoon we will hear the hon. member for Laurier—Sainte-Marie address the House one last time. I thank him. I salute him. He is a man of integrity and courage. My question is for the Minister of the Environment. Will she find the courage to fight for climate? Will she find the courage to fight for our future?
