Anandasangaree consistently deflects questions about public safety issues, often responding with either vague assurances about the government's actions and priorities, or attacks on the opposition for asking the questions at all. He seems especially evasive about border security and who is being allowed into the country, repeating privacy laws and broad principles rather than offering any real transparency or accountability.
