Emergency Management

In question period under emergency management, Conservative MP Carol Anstey asked why the government has not joined a provincial program to address the spruce budworm outbreak, saying dry timber in Gros Morne National Park is at risk of wildfire and that disabled Canadians rely on related supports. Parliamentary Secretary Julie Dabrusin replied that Parks Canada takes the spruce budworm issue and wildfire control seriously and is taking measures in all national parks to protect them from wildfires.Written by AI from the debate.
