Mr. Speaker, the Liberals rise every week to tell us how many people in our ridings need government subsidies to survive. They are so proud to give us the numbers, not realizing that this is the result of 10 years of Liberal policies that have stretched people to their limit. I imagine that for them, the ultimate achievement will be when all Canadians need Liberal subsidies. We believe that the real task is to build a country that gives our young people opportunities so that they can work, buy a home and start a family. When will the Liberals stop living off announcements and start building opportunities so that our young people can learn to stand on their own two feet?

“Our government is creating opportunities for young people across Canada. We are doing this through big projects, student aid, summer jobs, and help for affected industries. We will keep supporting young people and all Canadian workers.”

Mr. Speaker, our colleague talks about building opportunities for young people. That is exactly what our government is doing across the country. Whether through investments in major projects in Quebec and the rest of Canada, student aid, summer jobs, or assistance for industries facing unjustified tariffs, our government is always looking for the best way to help and support young people and all workers in Canada. We will never stop doing that.
