Military Justice System Modernization Act

A bill to amend the National Defence Act, mostly by removing military jurisdiction over sexual offences. Members discussed victim choice between military or civilian courts, the bill’s origins in a previous report, and a removed sunset clause. In debate, the Liberals suggested they may add the sunset clause back in the Senate.
